1. What is the predominant fabric used for temporary structures and tents? 
Fabrics used to construct tents and temporary structures are typically vinyl, vinyl laminate and coated vinyl. The type of fabric depends upon the application and size requirements. Most vinyl is constructed of 12- to 22-ounce vinyl. We can also provide hard-walled temporary structures complete with doors and windows.

5. What sort of foundations are the structures built upon, and what are the limitations?
Traube structures can be installed with many different foundations or without a foundation at all. Most installations are done without a foundation on surfaces such as asphalt, gravel, soil and so forth.

6. Are your professionals certified, and if so, how?
Our staff is trained and certified by the IFAI (Industrial Fabrics Association International). Traube also conducts on-going job and safety training on a regular basis. Records are available on request.

8. How long has Traube been in business?

9. What size of structures does Traube offer?
Structures are available in widths from 3 meters to 50 meters wide (10 to 164 feet) and are expandable to any length. Stock and custom sizes are available.

10. How long will it take to install my temporary structure?
This can vary greatly, from half an hour for a small 3 meter by 3 meter (10-by-10-feet) structure to a week or more for larger projects with a floor, lighting, HVAC, etc. Most installations are completed in one to three days.

11. Where should we start?
Give us a call at 314-647-8368 to schedule a site survey. The major purpose of the site survey is to gather all pertinent information regarding the proposed installation. The site survey will be completed by a qualified professional and shared with the client as well as those responsible for the scheduling and installation.

12. What safety considerations are involved with the site?
The importance of safety cannot be over-emphasized. Considerations include: obstructions, location, weather, wind exposure, access, exit and anchoring stability. Our installers are well-trained, certified by the IFAI (Industrial Fabrics Association International), and must be aware of and adhere to applicable building codes and fire regulations.

13. Are you insured and bonded?
Yes. We carry a full line of liability, workers’ compensation and auto coverage. We are happy to provide details as needed.

14. What precautions should we take for inclement weather?
During inclement weather, particularly when the structure is in use, experienced structure personnel should be on hand to ensure the security of the equipment and those using it. All parties must be aware of the limitations for safe occupancy of the structure. The renter must retain the right to declare the structure unsafe for occupancy. If you are ever in doubt of the integrity of your structure, you should evacuate and give us a call to inspect the site before anyone's safety is jeopardized.

15. Is it better to buy or rent a structure?
The decision to buy or rent a structure has many variables. If the structure is being used four to six times annually, it may be more economical to purchase. However, many of our services make renting the preferred alternative, specifically:
